Play Store expands its app paid usage across Africa and other parts of the world, enabling access to an additional 22 countries

Google has decided to take a step further to?have smaller markets have access to its paid apps.?This move will mostly be?beneficial?for small countries which are?in Africa.?

Some countries in Africa to benefit from the move include: Liberia, Libya, Somalia, Eritrea, Gambia, Chad, Congo (DRC), and Congo (Republic).

Developers will now be able to dictate the prices for their Android apps?listed?on Play Store. As stated by Google, ‘?Users in these locations may download paid apps or apps with in-app purchases on Google Play’.

This is a massive step in the right direction for the region as users in the countries were only exposed to free apps.

Although some of the countries set to benefit from?this new move, there are other countries in?Caribbean?and?South America?that are to benefit from?this changes?as well.??
