Malta-headquartered games provider Pragmatic Play has expanded its content partnership with Gamesys Group to incorporate its live casino offering. Set to go live in all Gamesys Group’s operating markets, the supplier’s live dealer portfolio will be made available to more players in countries including the UK and Spain.

The agreement includes provisions for Pragmatic Play game shows such as Sweet Bonanza CandyLand, Boom City and PowerUP Roulette.

Gamesys, owned by US casino giant Bally’s, is pursuing a separate live dealer strategy in North America via an agreement with Stakelogic in Rhode Island.

Creative collaboration

Pragmatic Play’s COO is Irina Cornides, who spent six years in executive roles at Jackpotjoy Group and Gamesys between 2015 and 2021, said: “I can say from experience that Gamesys are a wonderfully creative and collaborative team who share our commitment to player entertainment and protection”.

“With Pragmatic Play’s leading live casino portfolio being made available to Gamesys in all their active markets, even more players across their brands will be able to enjoy our growing range of immersive game shows and premium table games,” she added.

Alongside several land-based casinos in the US, Bally’s oversees prominent online brands such as Vera&John, Jackpotjoy and Virgin Games through the Gamesys Interactive division.

Simon Field, director of live casino strategy and development at Bally’s Interactive said that Pragmatic Play boasts some of the most recognisable live casino games on the market and has a reputation in the industry for “innovative and boundary-pushing” titles.

Bally’s International Interactive division, which is led by the 2021 acquisition of Gamesys Group, reported revenue of US $247.8 million in Q2 2023, up 5.6 percent year-on-year.

Brazilian Portuguese roulette table

Pragmatic Play has also launched an exclusive roulette table designed specifically for the Brazilian market.

This newly introduced roulette table, fully localized in Brazilian Portuguese, showcases Pragmatic Play’s hallmark commitment to premium Live Casino products. It incorporates the company’s signature high-quality studio, complete with an immersive 4K view that Brazilian operators can now leverage. This is significantly higher than standard high-definition resolutions with the content offering precise and sharp video games of superior visual clarity.

Much like the company’s other roulette tables, this localized version offers a selection of interactive features. Players can access real-time game statistics, save their preferred bets, engage in live chats with dealers and explore special bet options like Final en Plain, Finales a Cheval, and Full Complete bets.

The portfolio of region-targeted roulette tables, also includes versions such as Turkish Roulette, Korean Roulette, Swedish Roulette, and Flemish Roulette.

COO Irina Cornides said that it was vital to provide roulette tables in the player’s native tongue as this would further immerse them into engagement and ncrease the enjoyment of the experience.
