Resorts World Genting (RWG)?will reopen this Friday, 19 June at 10am, as announced by Genting Malaysia?Bhd?(GENM).?Located in Genting Highlands, RWG is the only casino allowed to operate in the country.??

RWG is the only casino allowed to operate in the country.

?

This?after?GENM?announced 18 June as reopening schedule for their non-gaming properties Resorts World?Kijal?and Resorts World Langkawi.?

Awana?Skyway cable car and Genting express buses will also resume operations?as well as another non-gaming property, Resorts World?Awana.??

Per the company’s official announcement on their website,?they “have re-engineered our processes and developed a comprehensive safety plan in line with the government’s guidelines and global best practices.”?

It added “The?RWG?StaySafe?Promise?outlines our enhanced safety plan for the resort. The protocols cover social distancing measures, enhanced cleaning and disinfection processes, as well as the deployment of service ambassadors among others.”?

Service ambassadors are specially trained customer-facing employees who will assist and guide returning guests on our enhanced safety measures.?

Further, RWG?introduced?MySejahtera?Check-In at all its primary entrances and outlets throughout the resort.?Guests are encouraged to download and register the?MySejahtera?application prior to their visit to RWG for convenient access to the resort’s premises.?

The reopening schedules came after 3 months of suspended operations for all Genting Malaysia’s gaming and non-gaming properties following the country’s nationwide?Movement?Control?Order?(MCO)?in 18 March,?to prevent the spread of Covid-19 virus.??

Last month, GENM announced that they are offering separation scheme for employees across all properties. This to further cushion the financial impact brought by the closure of their properties due to the pandemic.?
