In the southwest valley area, Durango Casino & Resort, an upcoming hotel-casino venture developed by Station Casinos, is making steady progress towards its scheduled opening on Monday, November 20th.

A closer look at the new resort

Located near the 215 Beltway on South Durango Drive, the resort boasts an array of features including 200 hotel rooms, ample convention and meeting spaces, a resort-style pool, outdoor social zones, and complimentary parking. With a significant investment of $780 million, the resort aims to be the go-to gaming destination within a five-mile radius, strategically positioned in one of Las Vegas Valley’s rapidly developing zones.

Ahead of the launch, the resort faces the task of hiring a workforce of 1,500 employees. However, competition for skilled workers might be fierce as other establishments like the Fountainebleu and The Sphere are also set to commence operations around the same time.
